Yes – we did it!! Thanks to the participation of so many families, we reached (and even surpassed) our goal of $6,000.00 in our “Go For the Goal” fundraiser! A few donations are still trickling in, so we will have an official total in our next newsletter! This means that the PTA will not have any more fundraisers this year, and we have raised the money needed to offer the many wonderful activities here at the Park – like Fall Festival, STEM Day, Art Day and so much more! The 1st grade brought in the most donations (envelopes) and will celebrate with a Pizza Dance Party hosted by the PTA. The following classes were MVP’s of their grades: K – Ms. Clay, 1st – Mrs. Cross, 2nd – Ms. Dawson, 3rd – Ms. Bernard, 4th – Mrs. Harrison, & 5th – Mrs. Drake! The PTA Board and Fundraising Committee are so impressed with EVERYONE’s involvement that we have decided to give Popsicle parties to ALL classes!! Great job!! The drawing for the raffle prizes of the Braves tickets and the Jacksonville get-away will take place on October 6th at the General PTA meeting (winner doesn’t have to be present).
